    About the project

A 4-year Erasmus+ European project focused on advancing vocational education and training (VET) with the latest artificial intelligence (AI). The overall aim is to increase the awareness, usage and trust of AI solutions in VET.

    More information

This project brings together the knowledge of further education and training providers and the opportunities for raising awareness, usage and trust in today’s education. The ultimate goal is to create a European Centre of Vocational Excellence. Research being undertaken on the project informs the skills gap in the market across 26 different partners in 11 European countries. The work of the project will aid European learners in the transition from learning to work, or to move between different educational systems: between apprenticeship, technical college or university. Making the most of AI will take a lot of data, time, and smart coordination between many different people. We believe that VET programmes are in a unique position to significantly raise the awareness, usage and trust of AI. We also believe public and private sector stakeholders can benefit from AI programmes. Griffith College is contributing to all 10 work packages and is currently engaged in stakeholder research and rolling out a series of events aimed at creating a professional knowledge transfer between education providers and professionals working in AI-related positions in the industry.
