At the end of March, TH Rosenheim hosted the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Innovating with AI: From Business Idea to Market Success”, welcoming students from PXL University of Applied Sciences (Belgium) and the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST).
Over the course of one week, interdisciplinary student teams collaborated to develop innovative business models using artificial intelligence tools. The programme combined hands-on workshops, expert mentoring, and team-building activities designed to foster entrepreneurial thinking, creativity, and real-world problem solving.
The event was part of a broader international collaboration: both TH Rosenheim and PXL University of Applied Sciences are members of the DIVERSE Alliance.
A memorable highlight of the week was an excursion to Leogang, Austria, where students hiked through the Alps and took part in a snow sculpture competition. The winning team delighted everyone with a snowman being walked on a leash by a snow-dog.
The programme concluded with final project presentations. The winning concept, Lookies, showcased an AI-powered app that scans a user’s wardrobe and provides personalized outfit suggestions.
This initiative not only fostered digital innovation and entrepreneurial skills but also strengthened intercultural collaboration and created meaningful learning experiences for all participants.
