DIVERSE met at the headquarters of the University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science and Technology “G.E. Palade” of Târgu Mureș (UMFST) on 7–8 October to advance its strategic initiatives in innovation, research, and educational cooperation within the European framework.
During the meeting, the announcement from the European Universities Initiative of the European Commission was highlighted, which will present all 73 alliances, including the eight institutions awarded the Seal of Excellence, on a single, unified, and highly visible platform. This initiative will strengthen collaboration and enhance the alliances’ presence across Europe.
Throughout the working sessions, representatives from member universities discussed key topics, including:
- New approaches to the development of micro-credentials.
- Progress in educational projects, including the Erasmus Mundus Master’s in International Business and Geopolitics.
- Strategies for international mobility, teaching innovation, and improving networked learning.
- Institutional communication initiatives aimed at increasing the alliance’s visibility.
The meeting also served to reinforce synergies among the teams from each institution and to define next steps for consolidating a sustainable and impactful collaboration within the European Higher Education Area.
