DIVERSE members participate in UAS4EUROPE networking conference to drive applied innovation

Members of the DIVERSE European University Alliance took part in the UAS4EUROPE networking conference as part of the Greentech4Transformation (GT4T) project, continuing to promote applied innovation that connects universities, professionals, and regions undergoing transformation.

The event emphasised the critical role of knowledge valorisation, regional innovation ecosystems, and European initiatives such as the European Innovation Act in shaping the future of applied research and entrepreneurship.

Participants benefited from insightful presentations, including examples from Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz (FHNW) and Technische Hochschule Deggendorf. The conference also featured stories from two innovative startups, Bionomic and HYDROSOLID® – Hydrogen Technology, whose creativity and passion demonstrated how applied research can translate into tangible societal impact.

Attendees also gained valuable insights into the upcoming Horizon Europe FP10 programme and the opportunities it will provide to support innovations that address societal challenges.

DIVERSE members, including Hogeschool PXL and Windesheim, participated actively in the event, strengthening connections and fostering collaborations within the European applied universities ecosystem. The conference reaffirmed the alliance’s commitment to transforming ideas into practical solutions that benefit society.
