During the second week of September, the European Association for International Education (EAIE) 2025 brought together over 7,000 participants from more than 100 countries in Gothenburg, Sweden. Recognised as the largest European event on higher education internationalisation, EAIE provides a key platform for universities, agencies, alliances, and institutions to strengthen strategic partnerships and foster international collaboration.
The DIVERSE project was represented by ten partner institutions, whose members took the opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, review ongoing collaborations, share project updates, and explore new opportunities for joint initiatives.
Participating institutions included:Griffith College Dublin; Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK); Algebra Bernays University, University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science and Technology “G.E. Palade” of Târgu Mureș, TH Rosenheim, Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm, Universidad Europea del Atlántico, Windesheim, Hogeschool PXL, Beykent University.
These meetings not only reinforced the project’s international network but also laid the groundwork for future collaborations that will benefit academic communities across Europe and beyond.
The next edition of EAIE will take place in Glasgow in 2026, continuing its mission to advance the internationalisation of higher education.
