The DIVERSE European University Alliance was proudly represented at the European Quality Assurance Forum (EQAF) 2025 in Budapest, where colleagues from Sveučilište Algebra, Bernays – Ivana Verveger and Ana Tecilazić – presented a poster on the Alliance’s approach to micro-credentials.
The poster highlighted how the DIVERSE Alliance is developing flexible, high-quality micro-programmes that enable students to earn micro-credentials across Europe. This approach is supported by a shared quality assurance framework, ensuring consistent academic standards, strong institutional trust, and alignment with labour market needs across all 12 partner universities in 11 European countries.
A key element of this initiative is the DIVERSE Micro-Credentials Toolkit – a practical set of resources designed to guide partner institutions in creating high-quality, labour-market-responsive micro-programmes. The Toolkit plays a central role in fostering innovation, collaboration, and learner-centred lifelong learning opportunities throughout the Alliance.
The poster session also provided valuable opportunities for discussion and exchange with colleagues from across Europe and beyond, reflecting the growing momentum behind scalable and high-quality micro-credential initiatives. The DIVERSE European University Alliance looks forward to continued dialogue and collaboration within the European higher education community.
