DIVERSE is also advancing digital and operational interoperability across the Alliance.

Through the Interoperability Task Force, the Alliance participated as an Early Adopter in the European Higher Education Interoperability Framework (HEIF) pilot.

Two priority use cases were tested:

• Discover and Apply
• Get Recognition

As part of this work, partner institutions:

• mapped their recognition procedures
  agreed on common metadata and shared vocabularies for course catalogues and credentials
• produced sample credentials in both machine-readable and human-readable formats
• developed a confirmed mock-up of a joint course catalogue.

These initiatives demonstrate the Alliance’s capacity to coordinate technical and administrative alignment, a key requirement for scaling joint activities across institutions.
