Several members of DIVERSE participated in the 2026 edition of the EAIE, held in Glasgow, with the aim of strengthening relationships with partner universities and exploring new opportunities for international collaboration.
The EAIE (European Association for International Education) is the largest international higher education event in Europe, bringing together thousands of professionals from institutions around the world each year. This year’s edition brought together 7,300 participants from more than 100 countries.
The universities that took part in the event included:
- Windesheim University of Applied Sciences
- Satakunta University of Applied Sciences
- Hogeschool PXL
- Universidad Europea del Atlantico
- Algebra Bernays University
- Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences
- George Emil Palade University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science, and Technology of Targu Mures
The meetings held between the universities provided an opportunity to follow up on existing agreements, review the progress of mobility activities and identify potential areas for further collaboration. In addition, the event offers universities a platform to showcase their international opportunities and establish new contacts.
The participation of several DIVERSE members in EAIE 2026 demonstrates the alliance’s commitment to internationalisation and to developing a collaborative network that will continue to create opportunities for mobility, exchange and learning for students and teaching staff.
