DIVERSE Student Council Holds Its First In-Person Meeting in Zagreb

On 3 July, the DIVERSE Student Council held its first in-person meeting, bringing together student representatives from across the alliance. While part of the council met at Algebra Bernays University in Zagreb, other members joined online, creating a hybrid meeting format that ensured broad participation. Meeting face-to-face for the first time was an important milestone, allowing students to get to know each other beyond virtual meetings, strengthen personal connections, and exchange ideas in a more dynamic and collaborative environment.

During the meeting, the DIVERSE Student Council discussed its priorities for the upcoming academic year. Preparations for the new Student Council elections, scheduled for October, will be a key focus, alongside the development of proposals aimed at further strengthening the DIVERSE Student Council across the alliance. These recommendations will first be presented to the Executive Board by the student representatives and will afterwards be discussed with the Presidents of all partner institutions during the DIVERSE meeting planned for mid-October at Griffith College in Dublin. This process reflects the alliance’s commitment to ensuring that student voices play an active role in shaping the future development of DIVERSE.
