Expert Evaluator at the Portuguese Agency for Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Education (A3ES) and of the Evaluation Panel for PhD scholarships of the Portuguese Research and Development Funding Agency (FCT) in the fields of Political Science and International Relations.
He was Special Adviser for International Relations and Counter-Terrorism in the Office of the Portuguese Minister of Home Affairs, Special Adviser to the Vice-President of the European Parliament, and NATO Researcher.
He holds a degree in International Relations from UAL, a Masters in Strategy from the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences (ISCSP) at the University of Lisbon, and a PhD in International Relations from the Faculty of Economics of University of Coimbra (FEUC).
