DIVERSE partners meet in Lisbon to advance EMDI BAG Erasmus Mundus Master’s

On 9 and 10 February 2026, the in-person consortium meeting of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Programme in International Business and Geopolitics (EMDI BAG), a programme developed within the DIVERSE alliance, was hosted by the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa.

This strategic meeting marked a significant step in the programme’s implementation. Over two intensive working days, partners focused on reviewing, approving and finalising the full set of academic and administrative documentation required for the joint degree. The completed documentation will be submitted for European-level accreditation in early April 2026.

The meeting brought together representatives from all DIVERSE partner institutions involved in the consortium: Algebra Bernays University (Croatia), Technische Hochschule Rosenheim (Germany), Griffith College (Ireland), Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (Finland), George Emil Palade University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science, and Technology of Târgu Mureș (Romania), SMK University of Applied Sciences (Lithuania), and the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa (Portugal), together with an international partner from China (Macao).

EMDI BAG has been designed to equip graduates with advanced interdisciplinary expertise at the intersection of international business strategy and geopolitical analysis. By combining perspectives from multiple European higher education systems and integrating global insight through its international partner, the programme aims to prepare highly qualified professionals capable of operating in complex and rapidly evolving global environments.

Through the development of programmes such as EMDI BAG, DIVERSE reflects its commitment to international cooperation and the design of joint programmes aimed at generating a real impact on the training of future professionals and strengthening  the business ecosystem.
