Members of DIVERSE and the Student Council meet in Rosenheim to assess the work carried out and define new lines of action

From May 11–13, Technische Hochschule Rosenheim in Germany hosted around 60 representatives from the twelve partner universities of the DIVERSE European University Alliance, bringing together academic and institutional leaders for several days of collaboration, strategic discussions and cultural exchange.

The meeting served as a key moment to continue advancing the alliance’s shared objectives in areas such as joint academic programmes, research cooperation, student and staff mobility, and engagement within the DIVERSE community. It also provided an opportunity to reflect on the progress achieved so far, including the development of three international Master’s programmes, six Micro-Credential programmes, numerous short-term exchange formats (BIPs), and more than 30 joint research projects across the network.

Beyond the formal working sessions, the programme placed strong emphasis on community building and informal exchange. Participants had the opportunity to visit the Rosenheim campus, take part in collaborative sessions in the Bavarian mountains, and experience local traditions that showcased the hospitality of the host institution.

A key milestone of the meeting was the participation of members of the DIVERSE Student Council in the Executive Board meeting for the first time, reinforcing the alliance’s commitment to strengthening student involvement in its governance and future development.

The event concluded with an International Night on campus, where students and staff from different countries came together through music, food, and cultural exchange, highlighting the diversity and shared European spirit that defines the alliance.

The DIVERSE Alliance extends its sincere thanks to Technische Hochschule Rosenheim for hosting and coordinating the meeting, and to all participants for their contribution to a successful and inspiring gathering.
