Diverse, as a partner in the European project GT4T (Greentech4Transformation), invites you to take part in an interactive online session exploring how higher education institutions can turn research results into practical solutions that benefit society and the economy.
How can universities help researchers bring their ideas beyond academia? What partnerships, resources, and support structures are needed to make this happen?
This session will explore these questions through real-life examples from Lower Austria, highlighting how universities, technology transfer organisations, and regional partners work together to support researchers, strengthen knowledge transfer, and turn research into meaningful impact.
Participants will hear from tecnet equity, the University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten (USTP), and the E³UDRES² European University Alliance. Their experiences will offer practical insights into how collaboration across regional innovation ecosystems can help research ideas move closer to real-world application.
The session will also provide an opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss common challenges, and explore good practices with colleagues from across the European research and higher education community.
Who should attend?
This session is particularly relevant for professionals working in:
- Research and innovation support
- Knowledge and technology transfer
- Entrepreneurship and business development
